Have been raving about this place for months since first eating an evening meal there last year. In my opinion, it is one of the best places to eat in this area, comparable to some of the best that Bristol and Bath have to offer. Superb quality local ingredients, cooked and presented by a chef who is clearly extremely talented, in a nice cosy atmosphere. I really cannot fault this place, and this weekend, I finally got to sample the weekend breakfast menu, and the Full English is the best I have tasted in the South West! If you have heard about this place and are thinking of booking a table, go ahead, you won’t be disappointed!
The 2 of us had a super meal here. The lady servind was great, very welcoming, attentive but not ridiculously so. Each course was spot on with complex and contrasting flavours coming together on evey plate. We will return for more great food in the future. My only issue would be with space. The restruant is small and laid out for 18 over 5 tables [4*4 and 1*2]. There were 9 diners that evening on 3 tables. Personally would not want to eat at the table for 2 with more than 13 or 14 it would be very cramped. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80
A bright star on the gastro plane of Trowbridge. The menu is small but the food is as good as you'll find in any silver service fine dining restaurant. Amazing value for money for the quality. Wine selection was well matched to the food. Some improvements to the decor and cutlery would really bring this up. Wow what can I say about this gem of restaurant, yet again we were served up a delightful 5 course tasting menu. If you haven't already been you are truly missing out on by far the best restaurant in the area. Thanks Dean and the team for the great food and atmosphere can't wait to visit again soon. I have been here for an evening meal and for breakfast. Both times I have been impressed. The restaurant is a very personable experience and the location is very unique in its set up. The food is excellent and of a very high standard. Made with the consumer at the forefront. A real hidden gem.
