The Highdown - Tisch reservieren

Lived in the area 3 yrs now and only recently found this lovely pub.!! Another dog friendly place, nice staff, very friendly, great menu, a lovely roaring fire for the colder days, good selection of drinks. I recommend this place.. And next door part of the pub/Hotel, there is a cafe..haven't tried it yet. It all looks very nice. Give it a go.

After it had been here a few years ago when it was a caries, it is safe to say it has improved a lot. the personal was friendly and attentive, above all, to listen, who constantly wore a friendly smile. eating was amazing and I was very pleased that they could squeeze me and my family together on a Sunday to celebrate my mother's birthday:

Lovely location to take family as the building is so traditional and accessible. Staff are super attentive. Reasonably priced. Have a weekday walk and you can go in with your dog and sit by the fire. Be great to have more vegetarian or vegan options. Xxx 10/10

Loved my stay here at the Highdown. The tea rooms were pleasant, the gardens were beautiful and the hotel room and breakfast were wonderful. Still chuckling about a picture hanging upside down in the bar! I'll definitely pay a return visit in the future.

We love it here our second stay. Beautiful rooms and a bathroom from heaven. The pub/restaurant is a stone throw away so after a nice meal and drinks you can wander 1 min to your room. Book 2 weeks in advance for the afternoon roast slot
