absolutely fantastic chance we ended up here tonight. eating was absolutely fantastic, the service was even better that we have never been here, and our server tegan was so nice and friendly. she really connected us with the good sitting, and I absolutely appreciate that from a big server. we are here for a weekend and wandered in the inner city on the search for a meal everywhere seemed so busy and so loud, with many people drinking and walking on terraces. we are in the same way everything for it, but tonight we wanted to be a little quieter. we sat at the perfect place, up where we were beautiful and alone to cool and relax after working all day and then driving 3.5 hours. enjoy a hours o...
I visited this restaurant last week because I was curious about their menu. I ordered the Coffee Tastic, thinking it would be less sweet than the other options. The drink was actually perfect for me—not too sweet at all, and I really enjoyed it. However, the coffee cake was quite dry, making it necessary for me to drink a lot to digest it, which is why I gave it a 4 out of 5. The chocolate shell on the outside was also quite sweet, so I wouldn't recommend eating it by itself. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. I would love to come back to try other drinks!
Terrible experience. The place is all about the looks. Looks nice and the food looks good, but it was really bad. The milkshakes sure looked nice, but in the end was a cup of milk with whipcream and some waffles, it made no sense. I order some ice cream to try to fix it and they charged me even more than the already overpriced everything. They charged me and my wife for the play rate, we were just accompanying our kids there. In the end was an almost 100 dollar bill for some bad food and some board games. Never coming back for sure.
I took a group of children aged 10 to 18 to The Hive and Honeycomb for an afternoon filled with fun and milkshakes. All six of them agreed that it was the perfect spot! There was a fantastic variety of games to choose from, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The food and milkshake options were excellent as well. We love game cafes, and this did not disappoint. While not as large of a game selection as most game cafes, the food was great and there was also the option to paint ceramics lots of great options! The service was excellent, and my kids loved it and their milkshakes enough that we stopped by a second time during our 5 day trip when we were looking to beat the heat one day! I should mention we visited honeycomb, not hive.
We were really impressed with the food and friendly service. Our kids loved their milkshakes and being able to play games. I’m impressed with the number of options for food allergies sensitivities. I’m looking forward to take the kids back and try some pottery next. Def recommend for a cute family outing.
We needed to get out of the heat while exploring Charlottetown, so we stopped here for a drink, snack, dessert and board game break. There was a great selection of fun games. The spinach artichoke dip was tasty. The Skor cheesecake was the real winner though. My sweet tooth loved it. Service was good.
Last night, I went on a double date and had a fantastic time! I hung up the magical mermaid picture and ordered some finger foods. I really love the concept of this place—enjoying snacks while chatting and playing board games with friends is just perfect! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We are out of town on a rainy day and found this wonderful café to play board games with our three boys. The food and coffee are delicious and my boys loved the wide variety of board games. If we had more time, we would stay to paint some mugs too!
