Unfortunately, it is a pity that this great little bar near Waterloo station has taken a nosedive in terms of service. I have been a regular patron for years, but the recent experience was disappointing. The service felt begrudging, with a male server showing displeasure when I waited to be served in the front bar instead of going to the other room. It was only 2:55 on a Saturday, yet he seemed annoyed as he needed to close the bar by 5:00. If they only serve in the other room, a sign should be put up to avoid confusion. After a long walk around London we made our way to Waterloo station. Train was 30 mins away so we decided to go for a drink. We passed by this pub so many times and we were pleasantly surprised. Drinks are well cheap considered the area on south bank there are pop up bars where they charge you £10-£15 for ONE COCKTAIL in plastic cup, yes, you’ve got the view but I mean…that’s a rip off). Service was quick, all sorts of people were there. 2 rooms, one on the left when you walk in, another one in front of you which is bigger and there’s a garden where you’re free to smoke. Definitely loads of characters but we enjoyed it!
This restaurant would have been a great place to stop for a drink before catching the train, if it weren't for the rude and offensive language used by the bartender. While enjoying a drink, I don't expect to be subjected to such extreme language from a staff member. I am usually open-minded, but this was beyond unacceptable.
This was my first visit to this pub and I 'm so pleased I finally went. A proper pub, reasonable prices, not too loud so we could all hear each other. Just what a London pub used to/should be. Only reason I haven 't given it an 'excellent ' rating is the bar staff were a bit miserable. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This pub is excellent. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I would definitely visit again when in the area. It is conveniently located in central Waterloo. I give it 5 stars.
Fantastic food and great service, came with some friends that came to visit me from outside of London was lovely great atmosphere and the ower was so lovely defo will come again

Good range of beers let down by the poor service. I have visited several times but the service never improves. Won’t be going again.
