We had a fantastic Sunday dinner at this lovely pub in the Cotswolds. The arancini was delicious, we wished we had ordered more! The chalk stream trout starter was beautifully presented, with tasty cockles adding a nice touch. The roast lamb with all the trimmings, including a fantastic Yorkshire pudding, was excellent. I even managed to finish off the brownies with honeycomb on my own, as my partner couldn't help! I highly recommend this dog-friendly pub in Witney, with a charming private garden and dining rooms at the back. Oh, and don't forget to try their delicious ****** Mary! Overall, a great dining experience.
We left Burford very hungry and in need of food but a dog friendly place ! We came to the holly bush as it was nearby we just weren’t ready for how amazing the food was going to be. We all had the fixed lunch menu and WOW everything was just so flavourful and tasty. As a family we are real foodies so we know good food when we have it. Lastly very impressed by the service we received especially from Molly. Cannot recommend enough!
The entire experience of having our own private space for our party of 8, which made it very COVID-safe to dine, was exceptional. We selected dishes from the set menu (which was a special offering, typically only available Monday to Friday). It was difficult to choose, as each dish was mouthwatering. Those who have not tried this place are missing out on a delicious dining experience.
Great pub and lovely food with really nice staff. I was on my own on a Tuesday night after 8 but they were only too pleased to serve me. Would have given 5 stars but for the service charge on the bill which I didn’t notice until I had paid and gone. I would have given a tip anyway, and more than the service charge but, they shouldn’t be on the bill by default!

We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at The Hollybush with its new cook and exciting menu. We loved sitting in the garden terrace under a candlelit roof. The staff was great - interactive, attentive, and friendly despite being busy. Highly recommended place to eat in Witney. Finally, a stylish and relaxed restaurant has arrived in the city!
Our Witney team love this place. The Hollybush looks like an old-fashioned working men's pub from the outside, sandwiched between shops and houses in the terraced Corn Street. But what was once undoubtedly a solid, smoky watering hole is now a buzzing cosmopolitan gastropub, attracting a mixed, lively crowd of diners and drinkers.

Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and food options are excellent. Celleriac pie and the vegetable Wellington were nice vegetarian options.

Absolutely amazing. The pods are so cute and lovely to celebrate a special birthday in. Amazing food, wonderful staff. Can't wait to go again.
