Went there Sunday before last and had a very good meal, it's well cooked and not over cooked, mushy/burnt like the carvery we had in restaurant on Bermuda Estate, the roast potatoes crisp on outside, the mash looks as if its cooked on site because you can taste some lumps in it, cauliflower cheese was great with plenty of cheese on it, the vegetables was cooked well (semi hard) and not mushy like most places you go too, good portion of meats, selection of beers as well, staff great, will definitely be back, have to book to make sure you get table.
Absolutely fantastic! Matt, the owner, and his chef have truly raised the bar for fresh, homemade food. The pizzas were fresh and spot-on, and the clearly homemade chips were extraordinary! I can’t even begin to describe how great the wings were! It’s wonderful to see such dedication appreciated by the local community— the place was packed when we visited at 4 PM on a Thursday! And all of this came to just £38 for two adults and two kids. This is a great spot; let’s support this amazing local business!
This is undoubtedly the best pub in Nuneaton. The beer is fantastic, the staff are wonderful, and food will be available soon—what's not to love? The new owner has really gone the extra mile to attract new customers and has done an excellent job of turning the pub into a central hub for the local community.
This is a fantastic pub with a friendly atmosphere. The landlord is very welcoming and engages well with patrons. They have a nice selection of beers, and it's a wonderful local spot. The front doors are open, inviting everyone to come in. Congratulations, Matt! P.S. Ben's food is also delicious!

The menu is a blast from the past! Ploughman's is on there liver, onions n mash. I had the latter. Loads of liver, mash good, no extra seasoning required! Prices are fair which is rare these days. 10/10 !! Am delaying my trip so I can come back sample the ploughman's tomorrow lunchtime!
I have forgotten about the extra you have to pay for mash potatoes and cauliflower cheese which the cauliflower was rock hard like other vegetables
Another excellent meal at my local. Lovely sunday lunch ..chicken with all the trimmings ..washed down with a superb pint. Cant fault the place
