After a visit to the cinema with friends i decided to choose The Hudson for a late Sunday lunch. The reasons for doing so were twofold. One the last time we were there was pre pandemic and the other one of our party is vegetarian...and the menu on line gave a couple of choices which is much better than some places. On arrival we were given a choice of tables and whilst choosing drinks and food we were offered and accepted a jug of tap water. We choose our drinks which were delivered quickly and the food order was taken by a very friendly and bubbly waitress who helped to make the experience really fun. visited for the groundless brunch for the birthday of my daughter, who we both were very excited about how many positive comments had heard. sitting and atmosphere were beautiful and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. however massif by food left off; we meat and sweet plate and everything was fat, bitter and tasteless and not pleasant at all. my daughter had google the menu to identify what each item was, how parts of it looked like mushy veg. after many other brunettes had rated this as our bad and at the head certainly not cheap! we would go back for drinks as it is a nice place, but certainly not for eating!
Surroundings are excellent and very comfortable an old world charm! Staff are attentive and polite without being over-bearing they give you plenty of time in between courses. A jug of water was immediately brought to the table. Prices are on the expensive side...which would not normally be an issue but they didn’t reflect the food. I had the chicken skewers and the chicken surf and turf bellagio both dishes were bland and tasteless. The chicken in the main course was dry and therefore inedible. The manager did not charge for my main course. Probably not worthy of a visit.
Very centrally located, this was a proper restaurant accessed through the bar area. Water was brought to the table immediately. The food and service was excellent and the portion size was very good. I ate the largest Eton Mess I have ever been served! The...restaurant was comfortable and while there was background music, that's where it stayed, unobtrusive and in the background. Great ambience. Not the cheapest but good value in terms of quality and service.

Sunday lunch with my friends and what a fantastic afternoon was had by all. Five of us opted for the slow cooked lamb, one had beef and one had burger. No complaints about anything. Food fantastic, service amazing and a big shout out to Nathan...and his team who really looked after us all. We will definitely return. Highly recommend a visit
we were for a birthday party today, eating was amazing and we were so satisfied with the service given to us our server kaz was so helpful and have felt so comfortable and helped us with the menu choices, great services,...I recommend another of my friends to take a look up and come aniversary, thank you for an unforgettable day.
Food and service great. We popped in for a quick lunch having never been before other than for an evening drink. Staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Food was lovely, very filling as portions a decent size. Thank you, we will be back

I had a great time when I was at the Hudson, I had two main servers who were called Sonia and Lucy and they made my day, both funny and sweet girls. Food was to a great standard. Will surely be back again
beautiful furnishings. friendly staff. amazing selection of cocktails. definitiw one of the raised cocktail bars. eating is amazing. we had dipped after work drinks, but I will go to dinner again.
