The food is great, no complaints. The service is always horrible. Never fails. We always return hoping it will be better next time and are still disappointed every single time. Today was no exception. Drinks were never refilled. Unlimited salads were never refilled. Laffa bread was not brought when we asked. My husband ordered a beer and it arrived when we were almost done with our food, and that’s only because we reminded the server about it when the food arrived. We were charged for 2 beers though! Some of the best hummus and laffa we've ever had; the portions are generous and the food is delicious. Our waitress was patient with our many questions and very flexible to our order requests. We appreciated the opportunity to sit outside, although the ambiance of being right by the parking lot was just okay. It did take a while (and multiple requests) to get the heater lit. We will definitely be back to dine there and for takeout!
The food at Hummus Bar is always solid and the servers were very kind. I've been going to Hummus Bar since they first opened and only served hummus! The food is good. That being said, the restaurant was not clean. The bathroom was dirty with flies and unfortunately, there were flies in our area of the dining room. Overall, it really didn't feel clean.
Food at the Hummus Bar is delicious. The hummus, bread, small dishes, skewers and falafel were all delicious. The restaurant was busy but our reservation was honored on time. Always pleasant. Staff nice. Like that they have a nice outdoor patio. Parking easy. Reservations are always honored. Food is delicious. Chicken skewer was seasoned perfectly. Shakshuka is the best.
We took a friend from Israel, she said it was like being back home, and she really liked talking to the waitress in Hebrew
We did not get order order together plus we did not get the bread for the table while others did.
