Myself and my partner went to the Humphrey bean yesterday with a view to having a quick meal . We have to say it was so filthy we couldn’t find a clean table to sit at ! There was filth , dirty food , old...used napkins all over the floor , under the tables , some of the cushions on the benches had moved and the amount of old food underneath made your stomach heave ! It wasn’t overly busy when we went in early evening and the state of the place made us turn around and walk out ! Staff were walking up and down serving food but seemed oblivious to the filth around them ! God knows what the kitchen was like it this was the public area . My spouse and I decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I ordered a baked potato with roasted vegetables. After taking a few bites, I noticed that the underside of my salad was covered in tuna. The server was very nice and ended up refunding the entire meal and drinks. However, the manager did not apologize, even though they had to approve the refund. They were aware that we are vegans, as the salad originally came with dressing that I had to question. I was told that the dressing was vegan, but I have my doubts and chose not to use it on my meal. I guess the counter is run by euro parks. but the counter was broken, so I asked the staff where the next counter was. they didn't know and told me not to worry about making a picture they are aware that it is broken and when. they get a ticket, they will accept the contest. what a lot of müll I got a fine I put her out with photo proof and was said I had found another machine seriously upset, especially as I explained what I had been told to two other visitors who also got money. I will not visit this place again!
now breakfast usually wetherspoon. two workers worked their socks from the girl behind the bar and the lad served the eating. it was what a maintenance man appeared, who was constantly walking around the pub with mops/colds/starchs there were two...sharps (managers who sat, had a meeting and nothing to do! the coffee machine looked like she didn't see how long a cloth/pure in the quality white! The fastest breakfast I had eaten everyone, I can honestly say I felt like I had to sanitize my hands.
This restaurant is terrible. At 8:30, they came to our table and asked for our IDs, even though they had already served us beer. Then a family of 8 arrived and they made us feel unwelcome because we are young. The staff had a terrible attitude and couldn't explain why they were IDing people after they already had a drink or were there to eat. This is the worst Wetherspoons I have ever been to.
ECP run the car park. Fined us because my husband miss keyed our car registration and rejected our appeal even though we proved we had paid!!.Such a shame as we use regularly to meet friends for breakfast. Suggest customers park elsewhere and walk.Will never use...ECP car park again,they are robbers of pensioners!
The staff approached us and wrongly accused one of our guests of something they did not do. We told them to check the security cameras and speak to the manager. The manager allowed us to finish our drinks before asking us to leave, which was not a very pleasant way to treat customers.
Unless you want lipstick stains on your drinks and staff not wearing masks and then touching your face/nose!! I’d avoid, rather go to a place that’s taking covid seriously. (The downside to employing young staff)
Lovely breakfast this morning and great service by the lovely Tyler. Nothing was too much trouble 5* service. Will be back soon.
