I've been to this restaurant a few times each season since it opened a couple of years ago. The service is always friendly, and the gelato is consistently delicious. However, it is a bit more expensive than some other gelato spots in Delco, and the portion sizes seem a bit smaller. Because of that, I would slightly deduct half a star from my rating.
Update 2019: The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. I really enjoyed the affogato with toasted almond gelato. They also offer a mango option with habanero for those who like a spicy finish. There are plenty of excellent ice cream choices available. The ambiance is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick.
I can't thank you two enough!! Avril and Daniel supplied yummy gelato for our school’s holiday party last minute..like less then 4 days! It was such a hit!! The kids and their families loved it! The Icery is a fantastic place to satisfy your summertime ice cream cravings. They offer a wide variety of options from their regular menu, along with new special flavors to discover. Love this place. Always good service, and the gelato is amazing (try the almond joy!!!! The owner is so sweet she was running low on pistachio (my favorite but was able to fill my cup but still gave me a discount because it wasn’t “topped off.” What a sweetheart. Awesome local business to support.
I typically enjoy coming here since it's just a short walk from my house. I walked over tonight, and their hours state they’re open until 9 PM, but they were closed when we arrived at 8:30. What a disappointment! I suppose we should call ahead next time.
It was the ideal late-night snack. I had the cookies and cream flavor, which was decent. I'll definitely return to explore more flavors.
