My wife and I stumbled upon this gem after being sadly disappointed in the Long Island Ice Tea 's of TGIF. Irish Bank is worthy of all the positive reviews and for good reason. Rob The Bartender is simply awesome, he is very attentive and will not let your glass go empty. I 've been a New Yorker all my life and Long Islands have been my go to for years when out. Let me tell you Rob makes the best Long Islands I 've ever had. Not to strong not to weak,perfect tea like color goes down smooth then creeps up on you in a lil bit just like it should. I have driven so often from this position, but never stopped becuase it seemed full with the outside seat. but today it was almost 100 degrees outside and I had the place for me. what a nicely decorated pub, with a lot of seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. eating was very fresh with decent portions. the service was very good thanks to rob the barkeeper. his recommendation, the bank burger, was great. I had it keto style bunless with an salad on the plate. oh, the guinness, what a perfect pour out.
We called in to the Irish Bank while visiting friends in the area. Adrian was an incredible host; he went out of his way to find a match we wanted to see; the beers were great; we had an order of fries which were very tasty! All in all a great bar; clean, welcoming, great service and company!
the food was good, but the service was very good. also for a party of 6 we were automatically calculated a 25% tip on our bill. no warning or mention thereof. 20% are the standard and in the rule for larger parties. - That's not necessary. if it covid paid fee or something, put it as that.
