The food was traditional American farewell, friendly staff and the salad bar was great. I'd just go back for the salad bar, but the main rib was excellent. It felt like a community dining destination, there were couples of all ages and many larger parties too. The bar area had a singer who warmed up when we left. We would like to have stayed but wanted to be back to watch the sunset from our hotel veranda.
While the choices of restaurants in the area is limited, don't waste your time or money here. There are 2 menus... restaurant lounge, but you can't order from the lounge menu if you are eating in the restaurant. Which is just obsurd. More important, the food was horrible. My husband got the prime rib, half of which was fat. I got the salmon, which tasted like fishey cardboard. We'll never go back here!
From seafood Manicotti to seafood mariscotta to white chocolate blueberry cheesecake or maple cream brulee.... This restaurant in Castleton Vermont gets 5 Golden Forks to quote my good friend Angelo! The service was excellent and very interactive with all... I highly recommend if you are ever in the area....oh and by the way the salad holmemade bread bar are incredible!!
Amazing food!! So many delicious seafood dishes to pick from. The best salad bar we've seen in a LONG time! Both my little kids have Celiac Disease and they accommodated them above and beyond! The whole staff is kind and helpful. We look forward to our next visit! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great local restaurant. Visit family and they were able to accommodate us all. Love of old decor. Had the special base rib. Very good and damp. Huge salad bar with soup. Way to find and very friendly service. Thank you for a great evening with our family.
Don't pay attention to the other review posted today (6/29/17) we were one of the two "over served" couples sitting next to this clown.
Very good food. You must have the scallops. The scallops were cooked for perfection. Great place to have a nice dinner.
