I have been a regular at this bar since it was Old Orleans, and I am pleased to say that the beer selection and welcoming atmosphere remains as great as ever. Recently, on a busy night during a Champions League match, my friends and I decided to grab a bite to eat. I must say, the katsu chicken was the best I have ever had. Whether I am getting a Chinese takeaway or dining at a Chinese restaurant, I always order it, and this dish was without a doubt the best I have ever tasted. My friends also enjoyed their meals, from the bacon burger to the lasagne and chicken thigh and grain salad - all receiving top marks. I recently visited the Junction with a few mates as we were craving a Sunday roast. Not only did we get 20% everything as students the staff we really helpful guiding my mate through the wide range of cocktails they had, ended up having a Passionfruit Punch I think it was called. The food came out relatively fast and had no complaints all round. For the price that we payed the value was mega. The staff were extremely friendly as we had a few more rounds and then they waved us goodbye as we left. All round great pub with good food, good drink and even better staff.

Went in for Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff, ordered lunch then it arrived. Thick cut turkey, but everything was just warm, roast potatoes eventually arrived, they were cold, gravy was just warm, no cranberry sauce, no pigs in blankets as advertised, stuffing was dry and crumbling. Not nice at all and won't be back.

I was here yesterday with my sister and friends, we had the 3 course Christmas Dinner, it was lovely and well worth the mo ey just under £20. Staff also very friendly and helpful, especially the manager I think his name was Ben, checking everything was alright, I would highly recommend it.
Dinner was very small , the beef was raw , 1 nearly roast potatoe cut into 5 , £1 for an extra potato the size of a cherry , touch of food poisoning, never again
Was a very pleasant day out with my mates while watching the Newcastle match the service is great staff are pleasant and 100% would recommend
Great pub, watching newcastle beat Psg, cold beers, food is nice and fast service, out with a few friends enjoying the football

Popped in for drinks and ended up getting a Sunday dinner and loved every bite! Will have to make it a regular Sunday visit
