Ordered our meal through a delivery app and was very disappointed after opening the Togo boxes. Had?t even come with Basmati rice, the lamb cabob was tasteless and dry. The garlic chicken looked like it was precooked, coughs frozen in the shop, and microwave before serving us. It also came with regular white rice..isn?t Basmati rice the standard for these dishes. Very sub par for the price you pay for their food. Save yourself the trouble and drive the extra few miles to Essy?s Kabob on Madison. They serve excellent food and customer service is top notch!
Dry as hell and overpriced. My families first time ordering here. I got 2 orders of beef kabob and 1 chicken kabob. I was a little surprised by the price. At $18 an entree I had high expectations. Meat was dry. Overcooked. Had no moisture aside from the sauce on it. Chicken in particular was lacking seasoning, you have to add salt just to swallow it, not kidding. In your entree you get rice, 2 skewers, salad, and a piece of bread. All that would be fine if the meat tasted good. Save your money, I don?t recommend this place. Disappointing experience.
We finally went to this place. We had stuffed grape leaves. We had better. We also had tyropita and spanokopita. Both were very dry.. My husband had moussaka and the Aubergine was very mushy.. I had the Lamb souvlaki. Unfortunately it was under seasoned and very hard. It took ten minutes to chew a bite lamb, service was good, We were the only people in the restaurant. I think the only way they stay open is to take orders.
Ordered using the app, was ready very quickly. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. The souvlaki was lovely, the meat very tender, the veggies a tiny bit less cooked than I would prefer. The nutmeg in the bechamel on the moussaka was perfect, the base was lovely, nice level of cinnamon, the meat, and veggies very tender and flavorful. First time here. Had a very enjoyable time. Read some reviews that complained that this isn't authentic homemade Greek food. Well, get a clue, Sherlock. You're not in Greece and you're not is somebody's home. At these (reasonable) prices you're not going to be transported to a café in Corfu. The food was delicious, the decore pleasing and the experience Greek enough for me. Opa!
The beef shish kabob pita had great flavor, but it was missing the usual vegetables like lettuce, tomato, and onions. The house sauce was delicious, but the tzatziki sauce fell short; it had too much garlic and not enough cucumber and dill. Overall, I’d give it a 4 out of 5 and I’ll definitely be back to try the kebab plate!
The salad, dressing, baklava, pita, and tzatziki were excellent. The vegetable skewers were okay, but they lacked flavor and were a bit mushy. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and I'm hoping the vegetable kabobs will be better next time.
Rocky is the owner of this very beautiful place. The food is good, I would regain the garlic chicken dinner. The chicken is cooked wonderfully and comes with rice and a salad. I've been here since 1991 and I've never been disappointed. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is Folsom?s local gem of a restaurant!! The Kabobs were amazing and so is the sauce. Would definitely recommend The Kabob House after coming for over 10 years? pics below are from takeout
