The Keg Steakhouse & Bar

Have been going to Kegs for close to 40 years and I have never, ever gone to one that had run out of prime rib by 7pm! They blamed it on having an unexpected large group earlier. really? Going to a Keg and being told that they have run out of a staple item like prime rib would be tantamount to go eating to a Swiss Chalet and being told they run of white meat!. Service was very good, steak was good, and hostess tried her best to apologize. but frankly the restaurant manager here does not measure up to the standards of the Keg chain. What an embarassment to the Keg name. an reputation.

An all round great dining experience....went there with some friends from the US and they raved about the quality and the service. I agree...we had both. Our waiter was attentive, food was delivered as expected and quickly, considering the place was packed. not much else to say....downtown is a bonus if you are in one of the downtown hotels and can walk to and from....would go back anytime

We always know what to expect with the Keg Steakhouse, so we know it is a great restaurant to go if we want some great comfort food. The food was as always delicious, and this location did not disappoint! It is like the food that we are accustomed to, and we were treated to some wonderful bread. We don't see it the same way in Vancouver anymore, so we had a treat with it!

excellent dinner, so so service, nice atmosphere after the reno a year or so ago. my only compolaint is the asking if you want the complimentary bread and asking the minute the bill is on the table if you need the machine. very rude in my mind. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

extra! from the child menu to the dishes, everything is good and generous. blue cheese net is very recommended. Our waitress was very good advice and very nice! a very nice surprise in a very industrial city.

Had a great prime rib dinner here. The food and service was great. Enjoyed the layout and decor. Private seating even when the restaurant was busy.

Friendly staff, very hospitable and very well ate. A rapist! Both the steak and the salmon were really delicious.

What a surprise to find a restaurant of this level in a city like Prince george. We ate lobster
