Our baby was crying constantly during our outing with family, so my husband and I were taking turns taking him outside. The waitress offered to take my husband's meal back to keep warm and to bring him a new steak when he was able to sit down to eat. When we were leaving, they gave us a dessert on the house to take home. We've eaten at this location many times before and it is consistently great food. We usually feel like we are being a bother when out with a fussy baby, but we like to eat out too... and they made us feel welcomed, we appreciated the kindness.
We went out for dinner with friends a month ago, and were very impressed with the fact that our friend who has celiac was able to confidently order from the 'gluten-free' items on the menu. Many restaurants that claim to have gluten free food really can't promise there hasn't been cross-contamination, but The Keg can. So nice that we could dine without the stress. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. As it happens, our server's daughter has celiac disease so he was extra helpful! Enjoyed our visit and will be back!
My wife and I travelled to Barrie for her Cancer Surgery and we had dinner at the Keg. Our server was gracious and covered my wife's meal. This was so thoughtful and we will never forget this kind gesture. Whenever we are in Barrie again we will definitely dine at the Keg. Thank you to the staff for caring and their humanity.
We chose this Keg because of the positive reviews, and weren't disappointed. The food and service were both excellent. My wife's honey-glazed salmon was perfectly prepared, as was my prime rib. We tried an appetizer we hadn't seen before. The Korean fried cauliflower was amazing.

Poor service, had to wait for coffee, the waitress forgot about it. The fries were cold and so crispy that I couldn't eat them. Had filet mignon and it was tough. Won't be going back there for a while. Priceses are a bit steep as well.
The food was amazing and of the highest quality that I have seen, the waiters/waitresses were awesome, friendly and on the ball. The steak was beautiful, probably the best I ever had, I will come back soon.
Great food...steak perfect EVERY time. Great birthday free dessert....Billy miner pie...enough for 2 to sure, it is soooo big. Great service always.
The Keg never disappoints. The Prime Rib is to die for and generous cuts. Love the hot horseradish and the garlic mashed potatoes.

The keg is known for their outstanding food but this was average at best. Very disappointing unfortunately.
Stopped in while passing through. All the food was really good. A bit pricey. And super friendly servers.
