The Keg Steakhouse Place Ville-Marie

After a long day we decided to go to the Keg for dinner as it was directly across from our hotel. We were seated right away and our drink order came quickly but after that our sever became very distant and it took half an hour for her to come back to take our food order. She would check in on the surrounding tables but completely ignored us even after repeated attempts to catch her attention and we all made direct eye contact a few times. Our menus were even closed and off to the side so there was no confusion. A table that got sat 20 minutes after us had their meals by the time we got our bread basket! After that hiccup and our order finally taken things were fine again, we got our food soo...

I visit Montreal every 3-4 months and normally stay in the central area. Each time, despite trying other restaurants, I gravitate back to the Keg & Grill. Service is consistently good, food is pretty good (slight query over resting the meet) but on average I'm happy.The whole ambiance of the place feels good and the waitresses are attentive making sure water is always topped up. If there is one thing that Europe can learn from North America, it has to be that Ice Water is free & plentiful!

I haven't been to The Keg in such a long time and was so excited to return! We went with my daughter and a friend of mine - three ladies out for a nice Friday night dinner. It did not disappoint!The waiter was Simon and he was wonderful - entertaining and patient and knowledgable of the menu.I ordered the Steak with the scallops and shrimp and bernaise sauce. It was so delicious!!!! I love the food and the ambience. Always delicious and always consistent.I will return!!!

Pedimos vino, el pan de la casa DELICIOSO junto a una mantequilla hecha en casa con distintos quesos. Pedimos varios cortes de carne (la especialidad de la casa). we had a very enjoyable early dinner at the keg - a few steps from Novotel where we were staying. a very relaxing and comforting feel always at the Keg ( at all locations we have visited). the dinners are well prepared, the service friendly and quick. a definite must visit if you are in Montreal. - you can never go wrong having a meal at the Keg.

This is a very nicely decorated Keg — indeed, recommended for the sophisticated train-traveller, as it is right across the street from Gare Central. I stopped in for happy hour (2:30pm start) and enjoyed a local beer on tap and appetizer: all high quality. Bilingual server was exceptionally polite and helpful.

Selected Keg Steakhouse for a nice dinner. They exceeded expectations with a wonderful dinner and bottle of fine wine. Ordered filet mignon and steaks were cooked to perfection. Great restaurant for a romantic dinner.

consistent good value our server was always available. we asked for a banquet and recieved one our seating was changed to a. warmer section no problem
