What a wonderful proper pub, we were met with a lovely smile and served with a really decent pint of lager. The beer garden is fantastic there's a lot of room with so many different features and a lovely view of the Minister. Everything was so clean, tidy and well presented. We didn't eat but the food constantly coming from the kitchen looked great, we both had a chuckle at seeing chips served in a pint glass but hey it comes with a plate so..... Its dog friendly and the staff were amazing with all of them. We had two very happy afternoons here and its clearly a pub for both locals and tourists. Everyone is welcome. Well done. Next time we are in Great Yarmouth we will return.
Highly recommend trying this pub out. We were a big group of four families and they made us very welcome. They went out of their way to help on allergens. The food is tasty, good portions and really reasonably priced. Good old fashioned pub grub. We went on a Saturday and then booked for a Sunday roast which was just as good. Definitely worth visiting when in the area. Nice outside area for the kids to explore and some live music on a Sunday too!!!
Recommended by friends who told us we would not be disappointed well we weren’t. On entering The Kings Arms we found it to be a vibrant town pub. Heaving with customers (always a good indication) Staff friendly and professional, menu extensive, food first class, hot and delicious, first class ingredients served by lovely staff (nothing too much trouble) Prices very acceptable. What more could we have asked for. We will be back.
Found this little pub on Google maps what a little Gem it was 5 min walk from our mooring and easy to find hidden behind the great yarmouth minster church the bar staff were friendly and served with a smile engaged in conversation the wine and beer was chilled fish and chips was lovely and massive had a lovely menu with traditional fare perfect end to a perfect day in great yarmouth highly recommend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was overrated, with dry and hard chips, and a defrosted cheesecake served warm. It seemed like it might have just been an off night. The pie looked good though. The beer was top-notch and the staff were friendly. The pub itself is good and has a great beer garden. Overall, the pub is great but the food was disappointing.
This pub is a fantastic little gem. We took a chance being visitors to the area but as soon as we entered we knew we had made the right choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food couldn't be faulted. It was hot and tasty. The portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this pub
Great, traditional pub, everyone really friendly, big family beer garden out the back. Was a bit apprehensive about food at first but was really good. Steak cooked perfectly (I’m a bit of a steak snob) and couldn’t fault it. Would recommend the extra few minutes walk
