The Kings Arms is the best pub in Saffron Walden. Beautiful historic building on Market Hill. Landlord Ashley along with Page will make you feel so welcome. On a chilly day or evening you can enjoy two fireplaces. The bar food is also delicious along with the wonderful selection of hand pulled beers!
If you're not a fan of quality beer, a great atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment, then maybe this isn't the place for you. Dennis Stratton, former Iron Maiden guitarist, was even spotted playing bass here. Don't miss out on a good time. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if I could.
Visited for a pre arranged family function. We have a nut allergy vegan in our party and they really looked after her food wise. Arranged food especially for her and kept it back so it didn't get eaten by others! Thank you.

Good place to drink a beer, the waitress is told you in every moment what happened or if she needs to up stairs to the kitchen.
This pub could be so much better. The bar staff couldn't be bothered tbh. It's a great place, just needs some nurturing.
