This was our second time visiting Alison's, the first was for lunch after a walk to Broadstairs and back, it was so good we had to return, this time it was for breakfast after an early morning dog walk, we had both ordered the bacon, mushroom and cheese omelette and was asked if we wanted the salad with it which we declined and was asked if we wanted a slice of bread and butter instead to which we said yes. We also ordered a tea and a coffee which were provided in a China mug not the usual plastic things you get in outdoor establishments. Today was a sad day, as it was Alison's last day before closing for the winter. SHE OPENS AGAIN ON 12th FEBRUARY 2024. I had a lovely breakfast of sausage eggs and chips and few mushrooms. As usual it was beautifully cooked and along with a cup of tea was very reasonably priced. There were quite a few regulars there and all wished she could stay open, but Alison and David need a rest and i hope David is taking Alison somewhere nice and hot for a well earned rest and recuperation. I had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast this morning at the restaurant! The sun was shining and there were windbreaks next to the tables to keep the morning breeze at bay. It was perfect! The breakfast even included vegan 'bacon' that was cooked perfectly, as well as three vegetarian sausages! I highly recommend paying a visit to this place!
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and the service is friendly. The coffee, drinks, and ice cream are all excellent. It's hard to find anything to complain about, especially considering the reasonable prices. It's nice to see many locals meeting up for a chat here as well.

The staff is always friendly and provides excellent service. The breakfasts are delightful, with all food cooked to order. The homemade cakes are amazing and everything is reasonably priced. It is a charming family-owned restaurant.
This is the place where beautiful views meet happy friendly people. Alison is one of the nicest people I’ve met since moving to Ramsgate and nothing disappoints ! Lovely family run business and so reasonable this place has it all :
Absolutely Delicious Breakfast. Freshly Cooked. Excellent Produce. Large Portions. Food Hygiene Rating 5* (Very Good). Gluten Free Options. You will not find better locally!!!!
Excellent staff and service , this time tried a lemon milkshake. YUMMY. Love the new base being built under the shelter at the side, will be brilliant when finished.
