The Lab Collaborative

We hit up the Lab on our last night in Oceanside, and were quickly greeted and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The only negative I have, which was clearly just a mix up and resolved as soon as it was realized, was that we sat for nearly 25 minutes before someone came over. We didn't say anything for a while as we were exploring the menu, chatting and just taking in the scene, but once we did, the manager apologized and sent someone right over.The house white pasta was fantastic, and while there are other, more exciting things on the menu, I was just craving pasta and it was perfect! My husband got the jerk chicken sandwich and literally inhaled it; he loved it! The tater tots, too. Kids...

Ate dinner there tonight and got the fried chicken sandwich. Almost zero flavor in the chicken and the sauce was bland. It looks amazing in pictures, but in real life it was very disappointing.The service was also lacking quite a bit. We got shared appetizers for our group of 6 and had to go get our own share plates from the servers station. I also had to get up and refill my water. One person in our group ended up going to the bar to order a drink because our server was coming by so infrequently.

Such a great place!!!! Potato leek soup was off the hook! Customer service was on point. She was an awesome waitress. Loved the different options, you don't see every day. Take a chance, you'll love it. Amazing food!!!!!Vegetarian options: Great soup!!!!!!! And got the Brussels without bacon blue on the side!! Parking: Plenty from what we saw. We walked.Kid-friendliness: Brought out crayons and coloring menu for my sonWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and easy out.

Happened to be in the area to grab lunch/dinner and do some work and randomly parked by The Lab Collaborative. Walked in and stayed. The place is outstanding with great variety of delicious food. Excellent customer service. The restaurant is very clean, inviting and holds beautiful atmosphere. Very unexpected but definitely was my pleasure to meet the owner Mark.Highly recommend this place ? Our first time. It was LOUD and the service was terrible. Our waiter had our table of 8 plus another table of 20+ by himself. Maybe more?! They also forgot drinks we ordered 2x. It was a JV experience for sure. Food was just ok. Oh and they gave us our check before the table was even cleared. Waiter kept calling me “boss”. Not cool.

The food is VERY good.Alysha is an AWESOME server with great suggestions.GET the Pretzel and Sausage board.The Lab Cubano Sandwhich LEGIT!!!The spam took the Cuban Sandwhich to a whole nother level.My wife (not a vegan) had the Vegan Sloppy Joe and said it was amazing.We will most definitely be back.Seriously, go here and enjoy.

I called twice trying to get information on ordering and was hung up on both times. Receptionists had a rude tone and didn’t even answer the question.The food is good but I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Very cool place! Unique dishes that were yummy. Somewhat limited menu, but everything was delicious.
