We booked the Lab Food Truck for our baby shower and I must say our experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We reached very last minute and G reacted with a “yes, we can do it” without hesitating. Within the next week and half we worked out the details and they were very flexible with our schedule. They arrived 30 minutes early to set up and immediately our guest began to order. We had about 45 guests at the baby shower and I child, you did not hear compliments about eating at least 25 of them within the first 15 minutes. The portions were huge and the food was amazing! I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! It was my first visit, and I can't wait to return. The mac and cheese sandwich could have used a little more cheese, but it was still delicious. The fries were a bit on the salty side. The ramen felt like a comforting trip back home—very flavorful and budget-friendly, plus they offered extra broth for a second serving. I highly recommend dining at night. I also appreciated that the lemonade wasn't overly sweet, which I prefer. The menu features a great variety of tasty options, and I'm really looking forward to my next visit!
This place was fantastic! It was my first time visiting, and I can't wait to return. The mac and cheese sandwich could use a bit more cheese—after all, it is mac and cheese! The fries were a bit soggy and a tad too salty for my liking. However, the ramen was a major hit—very flavorful and delicious. I always pass this place and finally ordered through Grubhub for pickup. What drew me in was the unique choices on the menu and the VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! My order was hot when I picked it up (it was ready pretty quickly! and handed over to me by one of the owners, who was super sweet. The Jackfruit Melt that I ordered was DELICIOUS and flavorful, and the fries were amazing. I will definitely be coming back and ordering again, and recommending the spot to others! I wish I had taken photos, however I had the pleasure of trying both the Crispy Chicken sandwich The Jerk Dr. (which was like pulled jerk meat on a bun) this past week while the Lab catered for a place I was temporarily working. I gave their card to family who live in the area told my mom we need to go there ourselves because it was flavorful and filling.
The pulled pork was tasty, but it could have benefited from some BBQ sauce. The fries were a bit overcooked, but still had a great flavor. I enjoyed the spicy pork belly as well. The first half of the dish was delicious, but the broth became less appealing as the meal went on. A bit more seasoning and perhaps avoiding mushrooms would have improved it.

I appreciate that they include two eggs with the short rib ramen. However, I wouldn't describe the ramen as particularly delicious. The short rib isn't tender, and the soup has a slightly sour taste that I found off-putting. The overall flavor isn't to my liking, and some of the baby corn was also sour, as if it had gone bad. I stopped by from Chicago and was absolutely impressed by the creativity and flavor of the food. The short rib mac and cheese was expertly paired with a refreshing drink. The chef even surprised us with a Fruit Loop Cannoli, which was delightful. I will definitely return to try more!
