The Lamb Inn West Wittering

Dropped into The Lamb with the intention of having a refreshing drink. Approached the bar staff, only to be told she was too busy and I wouldn't be served unless sat at a table to await table service. Apparently this applies even when not ordering food. I was naturally surprised by the refusal to be served directly at the bar. They were very busy with food service so I took my custom elsewhere. This is not something I've ever encountered in a pub before. Lovely environment and food looks good but certainly wouldn't recommend going there for a just a drink.

Very comfortable place to eat. Service excellent. Food well prepared and well presented. Worth a visit

Fish in the fish and chips tasted and smelled a bit whiffy! Could have been better
