Firstly, I must say the two stars given is purely for the service we had which was five stars. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and made up for the shocking food that was on offer. The soup was an unappetising slush which nobody could eat and the other starters were just as uninviting. Bearing in mind we had the early sitting the main courses resembled something that was prepared the day before and heated up. The meat was dry and tough and the vegetables soggy. The desserts were ok but by that time the damage was done. The restaurant is located in the stunning Leadenhall Market, making for a wonderful setting. After taking a break from sightseeing and a bit of shopping, we decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. I tried Shepherd's Pie for the first time and really enjoyed it. We also shared some Scotch Eggs, which were delicious. The Guinness was top-notch. We were seated by a window on the second floor, giving us a fantastic view of the market. The atmosphere was so festive!

Great venue for old friends to meet up and share a few pints and a reasonable lunch. Only two guys serving so it was a little slow and the food was not bad for the season. Very good atmosphere though and thoroughly enjoyed the meet up.
Lovely meal and setting. Food was delicious and we had great attentive service. I had the lamb shank pie and it was amazing. My colleagues were all pleased with their meal so I was pleased I booked. A real find and will be back.
We had drinks and a light meal here on the last working day before Christmas in the top floor restaurant. Everything was superb. Service, drinks, food top notch. Staff lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.
Charming place,excelent food and service. I really enjoyed my visit to the Lamb Tavern. The sunday roast menu was delicious ,friendly service and cosy charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Nice friendly pub also open Sundays which not everywhere round there is. The Sunday lunch is a real roast the evening dinner is also good
