This charming little village pub is truly a hidden gem. Be sure to meet the talented chef, who, along with her lovely staff, will do their utmost to ensure you have a fantastic experience, even during the busiest times. The menu features a selection of fresh dishes, including traditional pub fare that we all love, as well as some finer and more exotic options. Everything is special in its own way. I highly recommend it—it's absolutely fantastic!
An absolutely superb pub frequented by their very own local ‘light on his feet’ Alex Belfield Excellent menu: Wife got a large portion after I ate the Fish Chips. Karen the Landlady offers a good range of ales and, if your polite, she’ll show you her bulging sack. Good strong Italian coffee is occasionally available whenever Gino de Campovan attends. Well worth a visit, we will be back and there’s nothing you can do about it x
We had a wonderful roast here today—it was absolutely delicious! The service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend the apple and raspberry crumble. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a picture of the dessert because we were too busy enjoying it! Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Lunch.
The food is decent, slightly above average for a pub, but what truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The staff is wonderful, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. We visited here for the first time today for Sunday lunch. Wow!! It was absolutely amazing, the food, the service, the setting, all perfect. Thank you so much for a lovely dinner I will be recommending you to my family and friends and we will definitely be returning soon.
I enjoyed another fantastic meal last night. The rump steak was exquisite and cooked to absolute perfection. I love The Lambley; the staff is always so attentive. The ambiance is beautiful as well. I highly recommend it, even if it's just for a quiet drink.
They are now dog friendly so we went in with 3 newfoundlands this afternoon. Staff were fantastic and very welcoming, had a good meal with some nice beers (harvest pale and Distant sun) Will go again, and would highly recommend to others. Cheers
