This charming old cinema has been converted into a Wetherspoon, similar to the Wallaw in Blyth. It features a spacious design and a large parking area. During our visit, we noticed that many patrons were not wearing masks, and those who did were not wearing them properly. The staff didn’t seem to be concerned about this. As for the food, it was typical of what you'd expect at a Wetherspoon.
We visited both of these recently revitalized Wetherspoons locations. One of them features a spacious beer garden, which is beautifully decorated, and it’s a plus that all the restrooms are located on the ground floor.
