A friend told me about this place and said it was great. We were very disappointed when we went.This is a CUSTOM sandwich order system where you choose the toppings for your sandwich. We made our sandwich order at the front, I asked for no butter, yes to mayo, no to onions. I ordered a hot chocolate with NO whip cream or marshmallows or anything else. I should have known how things were going to go when the hot choc showed up with a mountain of whipped cream. I asked them to take it back and start again. When I got my drink there was 1/2 cup of foam, once I removed that, the 1/2 cup of warm choc was ok.The sandwich came with butter, with onions, no mayo. If this was a standard sandwich shop...
I usually don't like to leave google reviews when I get poor customer service, but when I have sent an email and not heard back from the restaurant then I need to let others know. I paid $23 for this gluten free sandwich you can see in the photo attached, with a small side of potatoes that were not fully cooked so I could not eat my entire meal. I had sent an email to the restaurant letting them know, and I have not received a response, which is very poor customer service. I sadly will not ever recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure how they think serving gluten free bread that falls apart like this before I am even handed the food is acceptable, and to charge $23 for a tiny sandwich...
A group of us get together monthly to try new places. This is one of the most comfortable. Nothing flashy, you go to the counter to place your order and help yourself to coffee refills. The coffee is in nice mugs and is the best coffee I have had in restaurant for ages. The food is great and good prices, a omelette, coffee and cinnamon buns was just over $20.00 Lots of free parking but go early. Truly a hidden gem in Calgary.
I often like to stop here for a special blend tea and a dessert but the parking is getting crazy here. The desserts are stilll terrific but you had better not go at peak times as parking can be a problem. I dont know why its so busy with only a Chinese restaurant competing for spots.

Great place for soup and sandwiches. Homemade complimented with fresh ingredients makes for favourable and tasty menu options . Lots of creative selections for both soup and sandwiches. Sweets are also awesome, cookies are huge and delicious. Recommended local choice.
