I want to start by saying that the venue was absolutely stunning on our wedding day. What made it even more special was Kristina’s dedication from the very first day we met her. This is why we chose The Galloping Hill for our celebration. From our initial meeting with Kristina up until the wedding day, she was incredible—always quick to respond to emails and address any questions or concerns we had.

My first time golfing at Galloping Hill Golf Course was great! The weather was a perfect 56F and the course was beautiful. We got to start a little earlier than planned, so that was a plus since it gets darker quicker now (November 2021). There was a mini issue with our cart stalling going up hills, but it all worked out in the end. After a wonderful outing, we stopped by to grab drinks and food at The Hill Tavern Sports Bar Grill. They were setting up for an event, but that wasn't a problem staff were friendly and attentive. Food was great, but cocktails were a miss. This is a gorgeous place to host a wedding. The views from the second floor were priceless during the cocktail hour. The cocktail hour food was also very good. The stuffed clams and sliders were amazing! Bar service was also very quick and the drinks were strong. The main reception area was very pretty with good lighting. The music was also just loud enough but you could still hold a conversation at your table. The main dinner was just ok. I had the stuffed chicken and it was super salty. The rolls on the table were like little rocks..Very hard! Overall, they held a terrific event.
Enjoyed a great season opening outing of the LPGA amateurs NYC chapter at Galloping Hill. We started with a fabulous buffet brunch on the patio followed by golf. The facilities are first rate. The group took advantage of the wonderful practice facility to hold a clinic and then played on both the 9 hole and 18 hole courses. The variety of options allowed us to accommodate all the skill levels in our group at the same event. We ended with some after round drinks and snacks in the bar. The staff was wonderful to work with and took care of all our needs during the event.

I played at this local public course today and was impressed by its great condition and beautiful scenery. However, there are a few issues to note. Some low-lying areas remain quite wet, and several tee boxes are in poor shape—one even had a raised box with artificial turf. Additionally, some pathways were underwater, and none of the sand traps had been groomed, making the sand hard and difficult to play from. The greens were also quite slow. Despite these drawbacks, the course layout is challenging and definitely worth a visit. The staff were very helpful as well.
Kudos to Galloping Hills for hosting our LPGA Amateurs event—it was a true delight! The brunch and meeting facilities were outstanding, and the staff was exceptional. The golf course was in excellent condition, providing the perfect setting for a memorable day of golfing. The staff's professionalism and attention to detail guaranteed smooth logistics and an effortless experience for all our participants. I highly recommend this venue for any golf event or just a round of golf!
What a nice course! I think I had been here before but didn't remember until I hit the first tee. Top class public course with some challenging holes sprinkled in. The course was very soggy when we went so it was cart path only but the experience was good. The fairways are well manicured and the greens were nice and smooth. I came for an outing so not sure how much it costs normally but it was worth it. I would definitely come by and play again. Check it out.
The golf course is interesting. However, it is very flooded in places. Also, the person handling the carts was rude. And the pro shop only sells men's golf clothing. Nothing for women. When I asked about it, he told me that women shop. They don't buy. It was very insulting as a missed opportunity as I was with a group of over 100 women golfers who were interested in purchasing clothing.

Recently had our son's wedding there. Beautiful wedding venue. Attentive staff. However, the air conditioning was not working well. Guests were sweating and extremely uncomfortable. Ruined what could have been a beautiful event. Recommend you check on the status of the air conditioning before you book your event.
last week I attended the LPGA AMATEURS NYC golf outing and Galloping Hills Golf went above and beyond to help make out outing great! The food was wonderful and plentiful. The course was beautiful and the staff helpful. Can't wait to return At the next outing
