We booked for Sunday lunch for a family celebration and were given a table with a magnificent view of Moreton Bay.Out of the 8 meals we ordered, one was not up to standard.The waiter, Dylan, handled the situation like a true professional. He was genuinely interested in why the meal was not good and apologised instantly. After asking exactly what was wrong with the meal he offered a replacement and thanked us for our feedback. Amazing! He deserves a pay rise as he 'gets' customer service.This situation could have been really good or really bad depending on the reaction of the staff. Having walked around to the lighthouse in the beautiful sunshine I decided to stop at the cafe for tea & cake, I was asked to take a seat & staff would take my order, reading the menu it said to order at counter, I went to order & my seat was taken by another customer, then I sat at another table the 1st seat in dining area a staff member told me I could not sit there,then went out & sat in another table to which twice a meal was bought over to me which I hadn't ordered, the staff were very lost! Not a friendly restaurant.
We ate lunch on the tables outside overlooking the water and had fish and chips from the takeaway shop they have attached to the restaurant on the outside of the building. Nice to not have to pay for an expensive meal and get the option of the take away section also. A fantastic spot when it's a nice day being right on the water. Park across the road for the kids. A lovely afternoon out. Would do this over and over again.
A beautiful family gathering located on the water on a spectacular Winters day. From the canapés & drinks on the lawn overlooking the bay to the scrumptious 2 course meal on the verandah, it was a perfect way to celebrate a special milestone. The Lighthouse offers full Restruant menu ..Cafe Menu .. Take away Fish & Chips ,delicious Ice Cream . Located at Cleveland Point , right on the water . From Morning coffee & Cake to afternoon tea or early dinner , It's the place to go . Staff are very helpful , you can sit outside with your dog .( An important factor for us .)
After strolling the foreshores this is a great spot to stop off for a bathroom break and tea or coffee before moving on. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is excellent and although we did not eat there was plenty of choice. Great spot at reasonable prices.
This place has it all..restaurant, bar, cafe and take away. pen plan with views of the bay and islands. Can be cool to cold due to the wind, and being out at Cleveland Point. Food and service good. Good place to take your friends and people visiting.
Great views of the water. Service good but menu needs more variety. How about sandwiches, or wraps or burgers . Next time will try the restaurant instead of cafe Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is fabulous, one can eat in the restaurant, outside or takeaway....many options! In winter they have the fireplace going in the restaurant.
