I was in the area with my daughter and my elderly mother looking for a place to have lunch when we discovered Lions, conveniently located on the main street with easy parking. The restaurant had plenty of seating and was easily accessible for older guests, plus there was a lovely outdoor seating area on the green. The staff was welcoming and incredibly relaxed, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The decor had a rustic charm that I found appealing, adding character to the place. It was a refreshing change from the usual high street chains and franchises. Lion's has created an amazing atmosphere, thanks to its decor, café style, and the friendly nature of its staff. The food is consistently delicious, and they offer a fantastic breakfast, brunch, and lunch—all from the same menu. This is definitely a must-visit spot when you’re in or around Halemere. If you happen to be there on a warm, sunny day, be sure to take advantage of their outdoor seating area, which is also available even on cooler sunny days!
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, thanks to our incredibly friendly waitress who took our order. We enjoyed some tea, and I also tried the most delicious brownie I've ever had—gluten-free salted caramel. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely divine! It was such a pleasure to find an open spot during the Easter festivities.

Nice place, waitress friendly but service a bit slow. Typical English menu with average quality food.… Good brownie with raspberry and chocolate… I would suggest to add the custard on side!!!
