Stumbled across this absolute gem when our original dinner plans fell through, and omg I'm so glad they did Definitely the best meal of our little trip to Devon!! From the friendly welcome, to the tasty sounding menu and then the most incredible food we...really had a perfect evening... we have recently moved into the opposite and have been looking for a place for a great Sunday dinner. the natives really came through today. excellent choice of meat, cake hot food and great variety of veg. everything very good...cooked, service-friendly and good priced. definitiw beats slaving in the kitchen all day! we will definitely go back and recommend.
I really enjoyed the meal I had here with the curly fries being a highlight for everyone. The servers were very nice and helped us accommodate all dietary requirements. Had a really enjoyable evening at the Local. Good choice on the menu difficult to decide what to have. We all ended up choosing different meals and none of us were disappointed. Service was really efficient, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return for more.
everything was great. the food was mainly delicious the venison, the cassrole and the burger. service is very good. from the front at the arrival they would not expect that this restaurant exists. it is worth a visit. a hidden gem. we're going to fall.
