I and my mother came to this place at the weekend. I loved the rustic vibes that this place has entered. also strong and solid wood tables that give this rustic feeling to this place. One evening after work, we strolled down Hay Street in search of a dinner spot. Unfortunately, most places on that side of the street were closed by 8 PM. However, we stumbled upon The Local Shack, a Hawaiian Jamaican themed restaurant and bar that was still open. Initially tempted to keep looking, we were swayed by the staff informing us that it was Steak Night. They mentioned that on Mondays and Tuesdays, you could get a steak and chips for just AUD 15. We were sold and decided to give it a try.
I went to the local hut last night and was very disappointed. the girl at the front was polite and conquering. but the manager issac was quite disgusting. he was smart and left the already underoccupied restaurant at numerous locations. I wanted to go into another bar, but I decided this was good. my fault. the music was too loud and you couldn't have a conversation about it. one of the worst places to go in the perth. would not recommend anyone.

Really delicious food, a relaxed setting with friendly and accommodating staff. Pancakes are so yummy, light and fluffy and the fish and chips were good too, very light and tasty batter. Their juices are awesome. There are also retro games on the tables to entertain Jenga, guess who etc ... Great spot!
It did what it said on the tin. Was an honest meal when it was flat out. Service can use improvement. Wasn't bad, just didn't give you a good feeling if you know what I mean. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if we were in the area again, we would give it another go
Just in time, fantastic sandwiches in Perth! I was tired of mediocre meals but now we have this wonderful option. The staff could be quicker, but the food is incredible. We will definitely be returning!
