Me and my family went here for a breakfast and I can honestly say its the worst experience I have ever had in a pub. The management spoke to us so badly I was so shocked that any human would speak to another human the way I was spoken to. There were multiple other people in the pub at the same time as me, who could see the way I was being treated and were equally as shocked. The staff are rude and the food is absolutely disgusting. We found hairs in our food, it was cold and stale and just absolutely revolting. Noticed staff member who went above and beyond for customers. Funny friendly and extremely helpful. Noticed her helping a family with young children (mum breastfeeding) she paid attention to youngest child brought his food out opened his sauce packet and even asked where he wanted it on his plate. We had only nipped in for a drink but this stood out to me and my partner as I would have appreciated this when my kids were young. Asked to speak to the manager to compliment the staff member and it was the member of staff we had seen. Kylie .. such a nice kind person .This kind of service should be recognised and rewarded.
We came here tonight after a long, tiring day at gullivers world as we wanted to get some food before our train journey home back to Manchester. There was a drunk man inside being dealt with by police and the staff handled it great! They were very apologetic about the disturbance which hadn't even affected us at all as he was kicked out within minutes of us arriving. The two young girls working were very accommodating and professional throughout our visit and we'd definitely come again if we were in the area again.
I went to Weatherspoon in Warrington last week and had a terrible experience. The food was awful, the steak was tough and full of fat. It was missing some of the items that were supposed to be on the plate. The pub was also very dirty, and I can only imagine what the kitchen and staff are like if the pub isn't clean. The staff were also very unhappy and did not seem to care about their job. I would not recommend this pub at all, in fact, I think it should be closed down.
This pub used to be part of Wetherspoons, but not for at least a year. I do not understand the mentality. I tried to order two meals and two drinks at the bar, but the bar person allowed another customer to jump the queue, just for one drink. So we left and went to The Friar Penketh, which is Wetherspoons.
Called in for afternoon drinks...not many in but too many for staff it seems as they were too busy chatting with each other...consequently having to repeat order cos not listening to customer
Do not come here, it’s not a weatherspoons anymore, the prices are awful and the simple food took so long to come, absolutely awful place, everyone be ashamed of themselves that work there.
I will not be returning to this restaurant because the blonde girl has a bad attitude. She is very rude and her demeanor is terrible.
