We went as a couple on Tuesday evening. Been meaning to try this very popular and central venue for a long time. Prices were pretty good for the two or three course menu and the food was traditional, tasty, substantial. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only criticism was service a bit slow but we will probably go again.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, attractive surroundings and a full vegetarian/vegan menu. Prices are reasonable for such a lovely place. I had spicy lentil and spinach burger with skinny fries , it was huge! Then vegan cheesecake, really nice.
Sunday roast arrived at table and very good but no veg. Had to ask waitress twice and ended up eating half the meal before veg arrived which was a good ten minutes later. Disappointed.
Had a brunch at the Loopy Shrew in there secret garden out the back. Great location , staff very friendly and professional. Food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
