I recently dined at the Lord Nelson based on a recommendation, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I made a reservation for 17 people to celebrate my birthday, and we were required to pre-order our meals due to the size of our group. This actually made things much easier when we arrived. The staff promptly seated us at our table, allowed us time to settle in, and then inquired about our needs and preferred timing for our meals. Went to The Nellie after the Ealing Half Marathon and the atmosphere was fantastic! They were doing table service for food. I had the Wild Boar hotdog which was exceptionally tasty (sadly couldn 't even finish the plentiful potato wedges). I think everyone in our party of 6 had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Guy on the guitar in the corner wasn 't too loud and played great music (although sadly drew the line at playing Paw Patrol for us). Highly recommended!

An excellent modern traditional pub. We booked a garden table for Sunday lunch before we dropped my son off at an event at Gunnersbury Park, purely on the basis it was nearby. We really fell on our feet. The food and service was excellent and good value. The vibe was cool and friendly. We weren 't drinking as driving but the range of beers was excellent. Basil the Lab enjoyed the garden too.

We spent Christmas Eve at this restaurant with approximately 25 family members of varying ages, and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was fantastic, particularly as we sat in the cozy beer garden. Though we mainly ordered drinks, we also got some food which was delicious. Came here for a family birthday celebration, friday night. I have to say we received fantastic service from initial booking through to the service on the night. What a great team! staff are super, food was delishous and our family had a brilliant evening, thank you to the team and The Lord Nelson

Lovely friendly welcome and completely knowledgable about Gluten free! So great to sit in the beautiful garden with friends and have dinner and drinks. Really impressed that they could cater for me as a coeliac and couldn’t do enough to accommodate.

The staff at the Lord Nelson were delightful, the food was scrumptious, and we had a fantastic evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Come here pre football. Always good service and wonderful staff. Food and drink are excellent too. Would highly recommend.
