We are a group of 28 U11’s players and their parents/guardians who were on a rugby tour to a festival at Kings Norton Rhinos. We were in need of packed lunch options for the players and parents, but couldn't find a local caterer in the area. I reached out to a catering team via Facebook, who responded quickly and efficiently with various options and prices. They even offered to deliver the food to us at the festival, which was planned in advance on a Sunday when they are typically closed. We were very pleased with the quality of the food, the variety of choices, the service, and the overall range of options provided. A couple of other recent reviews mention this is the ‘best’. I wholeheartedly agree. We had excellent, friendly and very prompt service. I felt that staff went out of their way to be helpful. (Service is so very important in my view). Our lunch was sandwiches/salad/coleslaw, all of which was superb. Great choice of breads and fillings. What a super little community café. We shall return.
I enjoyed a delicious cottage pie with root vegetables at this restaurant. The salad that came with it didn't really complement the dish, so I think a small plate of chips would have been a better choice. The food was tasty overall. The customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. I would be happy to recommend this restaurant.
Would not recommend The Lounge as a place for adults only without kids. It’s very much a restaurant for pre-teens/children and is a modern atmosphere. The food is basic but up to good standard. Would also say times after school ends are busiest and definitely wouldn’t recommend going if you don’t like lots of noise!

Cakes looked lovely but didn’t try any , scrambled eggs watery and cold beans , tea so weak could not taste was like drinking hot water , improvements to be made , on the plus side the staff were lovely , could be a little gem of a place with a bit more effort
The restaurant offers fantastic all-day breakfast options, as well as a variety of other dishes and a selection of homemade cakes. If it's not too crowded, they are also pet-friendly and will allow you to bring your dog inside with you.
Super little community cafe with friendly staff and great simple food. Busy and vibrant with fast and friendly table service. Menu is items like jacket potato, all day breakfast and sandwiches
Smashing place for some value breakfast and superb cakes. Family friendly and nothing too much trouble. Tea and fancy coffee all part of the deal. Take aways available, but best to order ahead

Had 2 lovely dinners at the lounge today. Mine was a huge ploughmans and the misses a hawaian toasty. Took 2 cakes home as a special treat. Smashing place to meet friends.
