weeknight Dinner/Staff welcome and gave good service, although I definitiw much pressure to leave at the end of our meal. not sure why half the tables were empty. the food was good, tuna sushi appetizer was nice. we have the fried chicken with grits and greens. I'd give him a b, the huh was in a very large plate instead of traditional finger size. the grotten had some lumps, collar well. a solid meal, but not exceptional. lemon crème brûlée dessert very good. very loud.
I guess I was a dozen times in love. eating is consistently good, beautifully vibrating. yesterday when I went to lunch with our table from 7 the service was a little slow, but our waiter gave us free extra pages and a dessert without even saying a word. he apologised for the delay and the gesture was very appreciated. I'm going back to the finals.
We really enjoy Starr venues and frequent them often. I was surprised to see both the price escalation and portion size deflation for one menus item. I ordered the rigatoni with shorty rib and found the portion size quite small at $44. The other items branzino, pork chop and fried chicken were well prepared fairly priced and good potion size.
the first time there and it was a good time. the ambiente was cool with the correct amount of light. the alcoholic beverages were watered for the price they cost. the food was delicious with a nice selection to order from with fair trips. we would go back for eating without buying drinks. The beet salad was spectacular, as was the pumpkin risotto. We also enjoyed the branzino and cocktails. The service was stellar, as usual. One miss of the night was the whipped potatoes which were positively drowning in butter. I would skip those next time.
