The market is a captivating blend of the old, new, and eclectic. The food stalls offer a diverse range of cuisine, showcasing an exciting fusion of different culinary traditions. One standout is the Moreish Café, which serves a delightful mix of Japanese and Caribbean dishes that are simply delicious. We also had the pleasure of meeting some lovely characters during our visit.
Brilliant indoor Market especially for choice of food. Small cafes dotted round all serving a variety of food at reasonable prices. There is a great fruit veg stall who sell excellent plants and are reasonable. There is a choice of butchers delicatessens all selling excellent produce a very good fishmonger. A must visit if you are in Shrewsbury!
The market hall has become rather more upscale in recent years there are some great looking hot food stalls but it's great that there are plenty of local producers still selling here. Cook and Carve have a great selection of home cured bacon, well picked cheeses, and various other delicacies.
What a treasure! A 'proper ' market hall with fresh fruit veg, meat, fish, deli and homewares, made even better by a really great range of takeaway and sit-down eateries, a wine bar, a gin bar, a secondhand bookshop, and lots of independent art outlets. Wonderful staff and so helpful, friendly and kind. Nothings too much trouble either and in all the year's I've lived in this beautiful town- it's only now I'm discovering this beautiful place and it's really a hidden gem just waiting to be explored and discovered
There are some really great stalls here. We dined at House of Yum, and it was fantastic! Everything is made to order, and the staff are friendly. If you're in the mood for delicious Thai food, definitely give this place a try in the market hall.
The indoor market is beautiful and offers a wide variety of shops. We particularly enjoyed the market café, which serves all-day breakfast along with a selection of cakes and pastries. I would definitely recommend a visit!
