The Lunesdale Arms

I visited The Lunesdale Arms a few weeks ago while staying in the area. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so we went on a Wednesday evening based on some great reviews, and we were not disappointed. The staff was welcoming, seating us at a table near the bar since we had our dog with us. The food was excellent in terms of both quality and quantity. The atmosphere was very friendly with many locals present, although it seemed like the staff may have been a bit overwhelmed at times due to the large number of customers. I would definitely return if I found myself in the area again.

I recently had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant, starting with delicious calamari and ending with a delightful sticky toffee pudding. I couldn't find any fault with either dish. The restaurant has a charming and spacious atmosphere, with plenty of room between tables. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though they appeared to be quite busy despite the restaurant not being crowded. I would definitely come back again.

Dropped in here on a delivery day and the ladies were absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful the food was absolutely amazing and great price for what you get the quality and quantity were just right and I couldn't fault it one bit, lovely atmosphere with a very calming feel to the whole place parking is available at the rear of the place, don't just take my word for it drop in and you won't regret it one bit.

Called in for Sunday lunch which was very fresh and great quality ingredients. I had the beef which was pink the veg and rosters were great. My friend had an excellent vegetarian option that did not feel like the usual veg alternatives to a roast it fresh, moist and well prepared. The staff were very friendly and the facilities including the toilets were clean and well maintained would recommend! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Called in by chance very friendly and a lovely friendly staff and the place is dog friendly which is great nice menu and lots of choice had the squid and game pie both Nice and tasty and not to pricy. Defo go back and take care dog with usas we were all looked after well.

I cant really fault this place. We've eaten here three times in the last couple of months and enjoyed every meal (admittedly all roast dinners). Best roast outside of my own I've eaten in an age. Went to a supposed top 10 gastropub last week and this is far better.

We stopped by on our way and we are so glad we did! The food was outstanding and the staff were delightful. The restaurant is charmingly decorated. A great perk is that dogs are allowed. We highly recommend this place.

Great pub. Only went for a beer but well kept Kirby Lonsdale beer on cask. Free full sized snooker table in the bar. Friendly staff Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Great place to relax and eat . Highly Recommend. We didn't eat, friendly staff . Very clean environment.

Visited twice, both times excellent. Steaks are 10/10.
