This is not our first visit to this chippy, but we wanted to give a shoutout to the excellent customer service we received. Last week, our order was incorrect, but after reaching out to the shop's Instagram page, they quickly addressed the issue without any hesitation. I provided evidence of the mistake, and today they replaced the meal. I want to make it clear that I am not trying to take advantage of the situation for freebies, as some may do. In my opinion, this was exceptional customer service, taking care of the customers who support their business. Thank you, guys. We ordered a Cod and Chips and a Chicken Kebab with chips at this restaurant. We have been loyal customers for almost 3 years and never had any complaints until the last 3-6 months. Lately, our orders have been incorrect with items missing. The last time I ordered a chicken kebab, the meat turned out to be lamb instead. The receipt was even marked on the bag, so it seems like no one bothered to check or care. This has happened too many times for our liking. Despite the occasional errors, the portion sizes are decent and the staff are generally helpful. I did not return to see if they would offer a free replacement.
On Friday we ordered 2 fish and chips and a battered sausage and chips for delivery. It came and we had 2 chips and no fish and 1 battered sausage on its own so no chips. Order very wrong! I rang them and explained what was wrong and the reason for the 5 stars is within 20 minutes the correct order was redelivered. It initially went very wrong, but what mattered to me was how they sorted it and I can't fault them for that. Errors get made but when someone responds immediately to sort it, that's good customer service, so for that reason still 5 stars. Food was superb on the correct order!
First time here and was fine. Food was lovely. We had 2 kebabs and battered chips. Cost just over £17 and yeah it’s a tad expensive but I guess it’s how it is today with inflation Place is easy to find. Very clean. Always busy. Does take away and delivery and if I’m honest my only one down side about it is they need to hire 1-2 more ppl. The two girls in there were ran off their feet bless em. Very good staff tho especially with their work load

Avoid. This takeaway has totally alienated its loyal and local customers. As a walk in wanting to buy takeaway food for my family, I was told wait would be at least 20 minutes plus as they were too busy serving food app customers. I took my custom elsewhere and won't go back again. So much for supporting your local business.
Since recently moving to the area we have had several fish chip meals from here. So far always been enjoyable. Last nights mini fish, chips and mushy peas meals were really tasty . Ordered and collected inside each time and service has been quick with food fresh, hot and not greasy.
Absolutely disgusting. Just ordered a special. Got home with the meal, the mini fish was the smallest fish l have ever had from a chippy. Will not be using again. What has happened to your portions. Prices have gone up, but smaller portions.
Hard to leave a review when I didn't receive anything ordered just eat didn't arrive called restaurant told contact just eat no help from either so much for customer loyal customers
