My son and I just finished our first meal here, and we couldn't be happier. We were offered two flavors of complimentary ice water, and we both went for the strawberry kiwi, which was refreshing and flavorful. I ordered the moussaka, and it was exactly what I had hoped for; I almost wanted to lick the plate clean! My son had the half chicken with potatoes, which were some of the tastiest we've ever had. We chatted with one of the owners, who mentioned that she does everything possible to source local ingredients. Our total bill, including tax, was $22.26. We will definitely be back!
Gyros have always been a favorite of mine, but I never realized that what I had been eating for years wasn't authentic until I tried my first gyro at The Mad Greek! Wow, the crispy pork wrapped in pita with fresh toppings and Tzatziki sauce was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return and try the Mad Greek's Spanakopita and Baklava. I'm also looking forward to tasting their Italian dishes! Thank you, Dean, Debbie, and the staff!
I had lunch at the restaurant yesterday, and I found the food to be average. While I was there, some workers were applying tar to the roof, and unfortunately, they splattered some on my car. I’ve tried calling the restaurant four times to report this issue so that no other customers have to face the same problem, but I haven’t received any callbacks. This lack of response doesn't reflect well on how they treat their customers.
The staff is fantastic and the owner is very friendly. They use authentic olive oil in their moussaka and baked pasta dishes—no corn oil or other less flavorful substitutes. It's a bit unusual to have dried ingredients on the gyro, but if you're hungry, go for it! The baklava, made from my mom's recipe, is truly delicious and packed with flavor. Oh my goodness! This food was amazing! I wish I posted a picture, but inhaled the food because it tasted so delicious. I loved the spanakopita, wings, hummus, and the massive Greek platter. Great service, friendly staff, and I was able to reserve a table for 7! I will go back again! Thank you!
