The Wine Bar is always a special place for myself and my dazzling wife Deborah. Whether in the main bar or garden it always attracts lovely people which gives the bar a special vibe! Although we live in Birmingham now we still make the effort to drive down once a month and the 3 hour round trip is always; always worth it! See you all soon. Mark Deborah Chadwick
My group Peterborough Friends often travels to Stamford to this lovely little Wine Bar. There is a wide selection of wines by the glass and the cheese plates are delicious and excellent value. It is so lovely to find a bar interested in serving good wine rather than just focusing on beer drinkers, as seems to be the norm in so many other establishments.
What a lovely place! Cosy and friendly atmosphere and the wine was wonderful, clearly chosen by someone who knows about wine. We had a problem with our booking but this was resolved in a kind and thoughtful way so it dis not spoil our evening. Can’t wait for our next visit.
Arrived at the wine bar around 10.20 pm, no one on the bar, waited for over 5 minutes for barman to turn up, no apology and if he was doing us a favour in serving. This might be a great place to go to, but not when you get poor service like this. Over priced as well. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We popped in a for a couple of glasses of wine on a hot summer's afternoon and although the staff had changed, everything was still first rate. Good wines, very busy but nothing too much trouble.
We came here the other week. We found the wine to be over-priced and nothing special. Although it was quiet, the grumpy barman didn't even acknowledge us leave. Probably wouldn't go back.

We came here for a few drinks after the England game. Good atmosphere and quick service. Not cheap but worth a visit, swish inside.
