Two of us went to this restaurant last night (Friday) and we were not disappointed. For $58 a head we were served a cold plate of dips, warm freshly baked breads, and a tumble of vegetarian antipasto. That was followed by a hot plate of deep fried cheese balls, sticky pork ribs and beef skewers. These plates came automatically. Then we both ordered the rack of Junee lamb and this was easily the best lamb we have ever tasted. It was cooked pink to perfection and just melted in our mouths. Then we had the lemon tart and the chocolate mousse cake - both were exquisite.Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were holding our National Rally in Wagga and had participants from all over the country. We ended up with a bit over 40 guests. so as you can imagine with covid our numbers kept fluctuating and had to amended several times from making our...original booking, along with special dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for Hayley. The event was a great success . I got wonderful feedback from our guests on both the quality of food and service. I highly recommend this venue.
Absolutely fabulous in every way. The restaurant, even though there was a full booking, did not feel crowded. The menu was deliberately basic, but the food extremely delicious. There were four of us at the dinner and we were able to sample all four mains and desserts. At $58 per person for 3 courses, it was a bargain compared to prices in capital cities around Australia.
After so many years wanting to get out to the magpies nest I finally got to go.I was very surprised with the quality of food and service. The decor was nice and there was a awesome atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a high quality meal with friendly service. A good place to unwind after a hard day at workI'll be back for sure

I have many special dietary requirements and they accommodated for these very well. The food was fantastic. Truly incredible. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone! Fine dining but without the price tag.
The food was superb, the staff were attentive and the location is delightful. A wonderful night with great food and their own wine. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Wagga Wagga.
A relaxed ambience with a lovely view to enjoy a delicious meal of excellent value! All courses are as equally good from breads to dessert.
I regularly go to Magpies Nest for dinner. The food and atmosphere is amazing. Also been to a few weddings and had such a good time

Beautiful setting. Wonderful service. Excellent food. Location, so close to the City. One couldn't ask for any better.
