This pub/restaurant had been recommended to us by some friends. We had lunch there this week and we weren't disappointed. Excellent food and a good choice of draft beers.Our thanks to Linda for making us feel so welcome.We will certainly return very soon and will have no hesitation in recommending The Malt Shovel to anybody wanting good food at reasonable prices. convened today for lunch and we were made to feel very welcome. there was a good selection of food on the menu and the food was well presented and delicious, we were even tried to have a delicious desert. we would definitely recommend a visit and will be back when we are back in the opposite. another positive point is that they are also dog friendly.
this place is a real hidden gem! all, staff and masters were friendly and friendly. they really looked around us, especially the young lad behind the bar and the renter, at the choice of food, made sure that little girls main meal came with the appetizers, and that eating was excellent. well done and thanks.

6 of us visited yesterday for food and drinks a simple walk from the carnforth station. great selection of genuine ales beautiful freshly cooked meals. fantastic service of eden the renter a really friendly traditional pub atmosphere. in any case a trip is worth again soon.
A lovely evening at the Malt Shovel, six friends all had a different meal and declared them delicious. My fish was excellent followed by chocolate pud and ice cream. A very nice atmosphere in the pub. Thank you, will do it again soon.
