Always very impressed with Wetherspoons, and finding this one on our way back from a day out was a pleasant surprise. It was a very busy Friday evening, and we had a short wait outside before a table was available. Our order was delivered very quickly considering how busy it was, and everything was exactly as we wanted. My only gripe was how very noisy it was, but this obviously had nothing to do with the establishment, I’m assuming it was just timing, and the fact it was so busy. Parking can be an issue, as the venue doesn’t offer any parking other than staff, and disabled badge holders, and even though we fell into the latter, the three disabled bays were occupied, so we had to park elsewh...
it's a Wetherspoon.... you know what you are getting and it's a decent price, we all eat the vegan breakfast and the sausages aren't great but zero complaints really, it's a nice building and makes a change to go there sometimes. 3 stars only for the quality of the food but it's expected and not a problem at all
A lot busier than the Night Jar in the neighbouring town of Ferndale. I ordered from the table, (because no bar service at the moment) a pint of Shipyard for £2.49. Some nice pieces on the wall (see photos). Certainly worth a visit
Nice atmosphere and pub but took ages to be served and every single table outside was piled up with glasses and plates the whole time we were there so no clean table to sit at
Classic spoons, never a bad experience. Great open plan venue, friendly staff. Everything you would expect from a whetherspoons. However, small beer garden enclosed.
Great all round pub. Its spoons so cheap and familiar menu as always. Toilets are clearly labelled and staff are always polite. Food comes out super quick
it is a weather spoon so good value for food and drink. we had fish chips, it was great! outdoor seats, though preferably also a small parking space.

We came here 5 times for tea after BAF food was great 4 of the nights I guess 1 night was a different chef.
