We came across the border from Detroit for the evening and planned to spend most of our time at Caesars. We did care for any of the spots inside the casino for food (mostly due to inflated prices) so we decided to stroll the streets of Windsor to see what we could find. We came across The Manchester Pub and were provided with excellent service and food. Many of the places along the same road were offering only light snacks or strictly drinks only. Manchester offered a great selection of typical pub food (burgers, wings, etc.). I settled on a Stella Artois and the fish & chips, both of which were excellent. Quick and attentive service. Highly recommended.
Read some other reviews and thought this would be a good place for dinner. After shopping I like to wash my hands so while I left my hubby looking at the menu, I went to the ladies room. There was toilet paper all over the floors and toilets, 3 of the toilets were used and I used my foot to flush them as it was that disgusting. It was quite slow in the dining room at the time. When I walked out, I let the bartender know that the ladies room was trashed and needed attention. I didn't see anyone go to check on it. Needless to say, we didn't bother to eat and went home.
We crossed the border into Canada just for the day, and ate here for dinner that evening. We tried the poutine (which was really good), as well as a couple of different burgers (there were 5 of us). Everything was good, and the prices weren't outrageous. Service was friendly, and we enjoyed the time sitting and chatting in a casual atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to go for a casual meal and a relaxed time.
We were making our way to Stonecroft Inn (great place) and the Manchester caught our eye en route. Hubby ordered a hamburger which he enjoyed; I chose the sheperd's pie which had a herb that didn't agree with me and switched to the potato/beer soup, which was awesome. There were six of us who wanted pub food and good beer and we were all 100% pleased with our choices. The atmosphere is unique, the staff friendly and every bite of the burger I had was mouthwatering good. One of the best burgers ever. Definitely would recommend and definitely will return.
Stopped into a store on the street, and this restaurant was recommended for us to try. We are so glad we did. Great selection of draft beer, and the menu was fabulous. The portions were huge, and the food was so good. Will be on our "must visit" list when we go back to Windsor.
Pub atmosphere with lots of sports on the TV's. Great food and friendly service whether its Brandon at the bar or Lorne serving your tables. Had a really nice time with these folks after a long day traveling. Will definately be back.
Went out with some friends for wings here. They were good an service was fine as well . Parking is poor as it's downtown an you must pay to park an walk a distance. If on a weekend you may not even find parking ! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is fantastic. All home made. The servings are very generous and the price is right. The service is excellent and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
