Booked a table for 4 on Saturday 24th August at 6:30pm. The welcome was fabulous and we were quickly shown to a lovely table. The restaurant area was well spaced making it feel open and uncrowded, even though they were very well attended. The staff were exceptional very efficient and always made sure that we were looked after and had everything that we needed. Despite our constant chatter and forgetting to read the menus, the staff were extremely patient and we did not feel rushed or pressured into making orders. We all had the Sunday Roast menu. Two of us had the beef sirlion and the other had the chicken. It was absolutely fantastic. Amazing quality meat, lovely veg, crispy roast potatoes and very tasty gravy. Best resturant roast we 've all had a a while. Excellent service and very nice surounding and ambience. We sat in the 'eatery ' section. Highy recommended and we 'll be going back for sure.
A really good evening. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent, friendly service throughout. This is much, much more than a pub restaurant. It has a few pub classics on the menu bt a good choice of more exciting dishes. All the dishes were beautifully presented and well executed. Would definitely recommend we will be back
We absolutely love the drive here, our welcome was warm,friendly and delightful. My lamb (special of the day) was tender and cut like butter. My partners cod and saffron potatoes made him want more. Dark chocolate deluxe was left melt in my mouth as it as so delicious. Always be back. love it here

Fabulous food and service. Nice to see how well trained your front of house team are. Efficient, friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely be returning to try the desserts.
The food, atmosphere and service were great. We were only visiting the area for a week and after an excellent Sunday carvery, we had to go back for an evening meal.
Wow! Amazing place. The food was just incredible. I can recommend the soufflé and the belly pork. Staff really lovely. I’d definitely return on special occasions
