came to brampton manor to celebrate the new year in our local pub in the unique igloos. the whole experience was not great and the vibes were out. we came to no one here at 19 o'clock for a party that was advertised as on...since 12 o'clock and I can ask myself 100% why! the whole experience was so disorganized and full of false promises of falsely advertised flyers to undermine. we paid £200 for 2 pods with limited facilities and then added our first friends with £25 each. this included their “lower drinks and food” for an hour (which mentioned on the previous flyer 2 hours). we were also promised on the flyer the choice of gin, beer and other weeping to a part of this brunchs below, but in...
Originally booked an Igloo before the current lockdown to have drinks with friends. Understandably this wasn't able to go ahead as went into lockdown. Was advised would be added to priority transfer list for when reopened, this never happened. All emails completely ignored, nobody answers...the phone, finally received a message on social media after posting a public complaint. Was told I'd receive a refund the next day, still waiting. Chased up daily and constantly ignored. They are only responding to new booking queries and keeping/stealing money from original bookings which weren't able to be used. we booked the "VIP" pod. should have been a pod with a table so we could eat. at the arrival we got a pod with a few chairs thrown in and a plastic table! I put on a photo! very unpleasant and undefined. a VIP pool. it took an hour to get a drink and that wasn't waiting for a drink every drink at least 45 minutes. that was not on the server they worked there, but on the administration. this place runs on postings that it knew the pay and should the coworker accordingly! the England game was also advertised in all social media, but was only last minute due to complaining. all in all absolute waste of the geldes and it is a place I don't give back and more money! the place is taking everything...
We booked a heated pod (which cost £20 doesn’t come off the bill at the end) and the pod was far from heated. The plastic cover was rolled up halfway and the heater was a pathetic plastic thing with a picture of a fire...on it. It was freezing! Service was very slow and they ran out of the wine that we were drinking. The owner of the place served us and had a really greasy personality. The food came in cardboard boxes and served with wooden knife and forks. It was awful! I have emailed a complaint and they haven't even had the courtesy to reply to me! Never again! If you have booked a heated pod' don't bother as they are freezing. The pods have all of the sides open so are open to the elements and aren't not warm in the slightest. The heater' only emits minimal heat and keeps switching off. The...drinks take an age to come out and although the food was nice we weren't brought any cutlery or sauces. My friend's order was also wrong but they didn't do anything about it. The wine is over priced at £20 for a bottle which you can get in other pubs for less than a tenner. Safe to say won't be returning.
7 of us come to the afternoon yesterday. what a beautiful day. the food was srumptious and the fizz just flowing etwas would have appreciated some butter on the sarnien, but nevertheless it was delicious. our waiter was kai, what a nice young boy. we were all very impressed by his hearts and his hard labor efforts. (kai's family should be very proud of him) we'll probably be back! to soon again!
We have been here on 3 occasions sice the new managerment took over and new staff in the kitchen We have had various menus and can honesrly say that the food has been excellent.. Great variety and something a bit different. Just a shame Covid...lockdown arrived. Cant wait for the re opening
Went here last week for the take away service. Nice to see somewhere offering something a bit different. Definitely recommend the beef burger. Excellent meal, Gut said he was proud of his gravy, he should be. Well cooked meals, all very tasty and plenty of it. Beef tasted amazing and a nice selection of vergetables. Great value and will defintaly have one again.
