Went here for a meal and was very disappointed in both the food and service. Firstly the place was freezing as had the air con on and 3 tables mentioned it to the waitress who finally turned it off and said it will soon warm up. It had a lovely fire but wasn’t on. We ordered a burger and scampi. The meal arrived the scampi was ok but the burger was raw in the middle, it was visibly pink and just tasted of pepper, too overpowering even if it was fully cooked. We told the guy who took the plate and never offered an alternative meal. We would have normally ordered desserts and coffee but the attitude of the server was poor so we just asked for the bill and decided to go. He just brought it over...
Been many a time and had great food. Unfortunately tonight felt let down by the quality. Thought seeing its now December I’ll have the Turkey dinner. At £18.95 thought it would be worth gobbling it up . Well to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Plenty of turkey . Let down with the veg. The sprouts were so so hard in struggled to cut them with my knife.so hard that I didn’t dare bite down on them for fear of losing a filling . I mentioned it to the waitress who took away my bowl of mixed veg and brought back when I was halfway through my meal . Sorry but sprouts were still too hard . Where was the potato .?? . I was given two medium sized roast potatoes, no mashed potatoes.. come o...
I celebrated my granddaughter's 21st birthday with my family at this restaurant. There were 18 of us and we all agreed that the chips were very small and thin. My daughter's sirloin steak was very fatty and my son's request for garlic sauce for his parmo was mishandled by a young girl who threw it across the table. Unfortunately, I did not witness this incident or else I would have spoken to management about it. We have decided that we will not be returning to this restaurant.
I only stopped by for one drink and was disappointed. It seems like this place has declined significantly since my last visit. It used to have a charming village atmosphere, but now I wouldn't even bother dressing up to go there. The loud, drunk people in tracksuits were a turnoff. It's a shame to see the decline in quality, and if recent reviews are any indication, this place may not last much longer.

Those in our party who had the parmo said it was fab. Unfortunately the rest of the meals weren't so good. Beef baguettes that were very dry, even with lots of gravy. And Sunday lunches with some odd flavours (not sure if it was the stuffing). Service was excellent, there seemed to be a lot of staff on duty. Acoustics could do with some work; it was very noisy.
I just got back from having Sunday lunch and it was not good. The beef was very tough and the vegetables were all mixed together in one bowl. If you only wanted peas, you had to search through the turnips, carrots, and broccoli to find them. I've been to this restaurant three times in the last six months, but I won't be returning again.
Have always thought the masham was consistent and good, we arrived for a late lunch on saturday, it was one of the worst meals we have had. Cajun chicken was dry and the chips were green and not cooked. Disappointing we did point this out at the time and they charged kids meal for the cajun chicen. Will give it a while before we return
The food and service in the masham is gorgeous but the Bombay pie was disappointing, it’s too much of the same flavour and very heavy.. plain potatoes and something to sharp to cut through the richness would have been better.

Sunday lunch always good but during the week the food is average and price high. We had a run in with a male waiter dark hair tattooed he was quite rude and arrogant. The girls are very polite and friendly.
Chips were terrible. Lasagne looked as though it was made with leftover bits of another lasagne. Staff not bothered and no recompense offered following our complaint. Avoid!
