simply came back from the camping to the masons arms and can recommend it. beautiful small, friendly side with everything they need and more. Pub foods were delicious and exactly what we needed after long days in the open day, at which cooking for 3 adults and 5 children became a chore and nothing too much to ask from the owners - we even borrowed an ice-cream for our wine, which will stagger all day in the tent. the children were the real fish and not fish fingers in beerbatter and watch the dogs the agility course. only very small lower side was the trainee chariot, which was crooked before the appearance of the sun, but then you are a camping so that they want to put in after 6 o'clock an...
Fantastic. Its a lovely old pub. The campsite we stayed in at the back is very good. Very picturesque and immaculately clean. Pitches well set out and landscaped. Toilets were spotless and modern. Pub food is brilliant and all fresh local produce. The addition of a micro brewery so they brew there own beer is awesome as they are all really good. Can't recommend enough and will return.
three nights in the poppy hut just a few meters from the pub itself. beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. both hut and pub very dog friendly. personal friendly and accomodating nothing was too much annoying. eat wonderful and don't let people think how much he liked the beer brewed in his own microbrauerei des pubs! I would recommend the mason’s arms
Sunday roast chicken was absolutely delicious ! The Yorkshire puddings are to die for .Local produce and homegrown veg were so fresh and tasty . It's a lovely , comfortable traditional pub but very smart , well decorated and pristine clean . Thoroughly recommend this dog friendly pub for a well priced excellent meal . what a nice pub inside. sa in the beer garden for lunch, the room was really spacious with many handy freebies (also a equipped refrigerator) then had an evening meal and breakfast this morning. really friendly, great selection of foods. very nice x
Stayed in the cottage accommodation which is just a few steps away from the pub. Very polite and attentive staff and food was very good, especially the Brie starter and liver and bacon. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon
I had only one night in the shepards hat. it is such an amazing place, as different from normal. eating is to die and the staff will go this extra mile to make their stay special. well done the masons arms!
